Before Christmas the Club hosted the Adelaide launch of Johns Harms’s latest offering, The Footy Almanac 2007. John has a successful career both in the media and as author of several books. His most recent offering is a project with Paul Daffey. Together they have brought together a group of writers, journalists, poets, musos, broadcasters, solicitors, teachers, a real estate agent, a law student etc to write a report of every single AFL match of the 2007 season. It is much, much more than a regular footy season review and a limited number of copies have been made available to Adelaide Lutheran players and supporters at a discounted price of $25 (the club also gets a cut). It’s a great read and/or a great present.
